    Valiant Solutions is seeking a GRC Technical Program Manager with an active Secret clearance to be an innovative thought leader within our Cybersecurity company.  We are looking for somebody to manage a large Government Agency program and help lead our multi-client IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Practice.

    The GRC Technical Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of contractor personnel and Task Order performance. They will be responsible for the hands-on technical management of Valiant Cybersecurity Federal engagements, support the evolution of the Government customer's Cybersecurity posture, take an active role in Valiant’s Knowledge Centers, and grow professional expertise in emerging Cybersecurity tools and techniques. They will create and mentor others in the creation of compelling content for whitepapers, briefing materials, and proposals, and analyze and define security requirements for information protection. The Program Manager should be able to execute with limited direction, anticipate customer needs and proactively supports those needs, and be responsible for all project deliverables. The candidate will have had prior experience working with a wide variety of technologies, be well versed in the current state of Information Security, and be able to interpret requirements of relevant governing bodies (NIST, OMB, GAO, etc). The candidate will be required to interface with federal employees and contractors to perform the required activities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience performing similar work for a federal client, to include strategic planning, solution development, and FISMA assessments. All candidates must be US Citizen with a minimum active Secret clearance.


    Experience/Skills Requirements:
    ·         10+ years of Information Technology Experience supporting a large Government Agency
    ·         8+ years of knowledge and practical understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance
    ·         5+ years of demonstrated experience leading and managing projects with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work towards strict deadlines
    ·         Ability to influence stakeholders
    ·         Thorough understanding of Windows, Linux, networking, Router/Switch configuration, and Security
    ·         Thorough understanding of NIST 800 Series
    ·         CISSP Certification
    ·         PMP Certification
    ·         Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology related field
    ·         Excellent interpersonal, interviewing, analytical and problem solving skills to address variable situations
    ·         General knowledge of industry security requirements, standards, and best practices
    ·         Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability read and analyze data effectively to write cogent reports
    ·         Good human relations, communication, supervisory and time management skills

     


    Preferred Experience/Skills:
    ·         Prior Big 4 (EY, KPMG, PWC, Deloitte) FISMA Performance Audit experience
    ·         Prior IT Operations experience 
    ·         Previous standard operating procedure development experience

    Physical Demands

    Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and also be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

    Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, and computer printer.

    Must be able to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express one self, and exchange information visually and verbally.

    Must be able to occasionally bend and lift files and papers up to 10 pounds throughout the office space for events and meetings.
