Position Description

Are you an Identity, Credential, and Access Management Engineer with experience managing ICAM workflow tools to provision accounts and permissions? Do you have experience configuring and upgrading tools such as CyberArk, Sailpoint, and authentication solutions such as SecureAuth? This position allows for 100% telework. 100% remote can be considered for candidates that live outside of the above listed regions.  Remote work necessitates a high-level trust in our employees. To ensure that employee performance does not suffer in a remote work environment, all employees who telecommute are expected to have a quiet and distraction-free workspace with adequate internet, dedicate their full attention to their job duties during working hours, and maintain a schedule during normal business hours that overlaps with those of their coworkers and Valiant's.


Requirements for this position include:

  • 3+ years of ICAM experience administering a combination of Sailpoint, CyberArk, SecureAuth/Okta/Equivalent, Large Active Directory infrastructures
  • 6+ years of IT experience including systems administration/engineering
  • Experience with configuration management; troubleshooting, root cause analysis; and planning, scheduling and communicating configuration changes.
  • At least three (3) years of related IT experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineer, Business, or other related scientific or technical fields, or at least six (6) years of related IT experoence and no degree.


Your duties in this role will include:

  • Provides technical, functional, and operational system support (e.g., backup and recovery, administration, hardware and software maintenance) and performs actives monitoring to ensure system reliability and availability
  • Plans, schedules, coordinates, communicates and performs the implementation and installation of any system configuration changes, patches, upgrades, etc
  • Performs system capacity analysis and planning and develops specifications, plans, and recommendations to ensure systems are configured for optimal operation and resource utilization
  • Performs systems troubleshooting and coordinates with other technical teams, as required, to resolve system problems
  • Develops and provides plans, schedules, and reports of all system related activities and actively reports system status, availability and problem resolutions
  • Upgrades and patching of the applications
  • Monitoring of alerts and Tier 2 help desk tickets
  • Remediation of alerts and Tier 2 help desk tickets
  • Processing access requests for enterprise users as needed 
  • Government PMs in establishing new or updated environments as needed 
  • Work with cross-functional IT and business teams to achieve prioritized improvements to continuous delivery and automated release management tasks as needed
  • On-going authorization activities including: 

○ Supply technical information to information system security officer(s) 

○ Support updates to the architecture diagrams 

○ Support updates to the system security plan(s)

Physical Demands

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and also be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, and computer printer.

Must be able to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express one self, and exchange information visually and verbally.

Must be able to occasionally bend and lift files and papers up to 10 pounds throughout the office space for events and meetings.
