Position Description

Are you a SailPoint specialist? Want to help a large and  innovative government agency fully integrate Sailpoint with operating systems, tools, and applications? This is an exciting opportunity for you to design and implement a new and improved ICAM program which spans on-premise and cloud environments. The successful candidate will have experience designing and implementing ICAM solutions for workflow, authentication, and privilege management. This experience will include experience with Sailpoint and authentication solutions such as SecureAuth, Okta, and directory structures (AD). The successful candidate will be used to leading technical projects, coming up with design and implementation documentation, and executing the implementation itself. These SailPoint Integration Engineer positions allow for 100% telework.  Remote work necessitates a high-level trust in our employees. One of the following certifications is strongly preferred:

  • SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Architect, SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer, SailPoint Certified
  • IdentityNow Engineer, Sailpoint Certified IdentityNow Professional, Sailpoint Certified
  • IdentityIQ Associate, Sailpoint Certified IdentityIQ Professional.


Your experience will include:

  • 5 + years of experience designing and implementing Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) solutions 
  • 2+ years of experience implementing Sailpoint
  • Experience engineering solutions in both on-premise and cloud environments
  • Design and implementation of features and integrations for enterprise including integration with enterprise IT service management platforms
  • Onboarding applications for access requests and provisioning 
  • Continued design and development of automated release management, and scalable repeatable automation 
  • Design and implementation of new authoritative source data connectors for user accounts 
  • Design and onboarding of additional privileged access management for IT assets including: 

○ Windows Servers 

○ Security Appliances 

○ Network Appliances 

○ Databases


Example Duties include:

  • Interfaces with the users to determine their requirements
  • Generates the highest level of system requirements, based on the user's needs and other constraints such as cost and schedule
  • Ensures that high level requirements are consistent, complete, correct, and operationally defined 
  • Provides for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces 
  • Performs cost-benefit analyses to determine whether requirements are best met by manual, software, or hardware functions
  • Interfaces with the design and implementation engineers and architects, so that any problems arising during design or implementation can be resolved in accordance with the fundamental design concepts, and user needs and constraints
  • Assess workflow, organization, and planning for problems and develop appropriate corrective action 
  • Ensures that a maximally robust design is developed
  • Generates products such as sketches, models, an early user guide and prototypes to keep the user and the engineers constantly up to date and in agreement on the system to be provided as it is evolving 
  • Updates to continuous diagnostics and mitigation (CDM) dashboard reporting initiatives 
  • Verify that architectures are in agreement with open systems standards as they apply to the customer’s environment
  • Supervise staff as required Requirements
  • At least five (5) years of IT experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical field, or at least eight (8) years of IT experience and no degree requirement

Vaccination Mandate:

Physical Demands

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and also be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, and computer printer.

Must be able to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express one self, and exchange information visually and verbally.

Must be able to occasionally bend and lift files and papers up to 10 pounds throughout the office space for events and meetings.
