This key person is an expert in project and program management with at least 15 years of experience and holds a PMP certification. They should have experience in managing a team that provides oversight, and assessments makes recommendations and establishes best practices for improving operations, processes, and outcomes. This person should have experience standing up an ePMO and integrating ePMO activities with existing operational processes. They should have experience providing continuous improvement, leading organizational change, and making recommendations to drive project performance. They should possess strong writing and oral presentation capabilities in developing executive-level briefings, presentations, and recommendations for senior management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the intricacies of the managing a program with the Department of Defense or Department of Energy.


As an ePMO Lead, you will be responsible for standing up the ePMO and integrating related activities into exsiting operational processes along with the day-to-day oversight of contractor personnel and Task Order performance including technical delivery. You will be responsible for the hands-on technical management of Information Technology engagements, supporting the evolution of the Government customer's IT posture. You will lead your team to ensure the accomplishments of the program are documented and known for more broad company efforts through white-papers, briefing materials, and proposals. As ePMO Lead, you should be able to execute with limited direction, anticipate customer needs and proactively support those needs, and be responsible for all project deliverables. The candidate will have had prior experience working with a wide variety of technologies, be well versed in the current state of Information Technology and be able to interpret the requirements of relevant governing bodies. The candidate will be required to interface with federal employees and contractors to perform the required activities.


This position allows for partital telework, on days not reporting to the client in Washington DC. Remote work necessitates a high-level trust in our employees. To ensure that employee performance does not suffer in a remote work environment, all employees who telecommute are expected to have a quiet and distraction-free workspace with adequate internet, dedicate their full attention and availability to their job duties during working hours, and maintain a schedule during core business hours that align with those of their coworkers and Valiant's clients.  Additionally,  in alignment to the Office of the Inspector General’s effort to eliminate conflicting employment all Valiant employees are required to disclose any current or future outside employment engagements. During onboarding and throughout employment, employees must disclose any current activities or intent to engage in outside employment or other professional activities and obtain written approval.  Employees may not solicit or conduct any outside business during core business hours for Valiant Solutions and our clients.



  • Ensure projects and enhancements meet all requirements to ensure the projects are completed within schedule, cost, and performance
  • Monitor each project by providing timely project assessment, per the Contract Service
  • Participate in routine and periodic status meetings with key customer personnel, at times on short notice, to convey the current status and risks are presented
  • Provide Project management support following industry standards, frameworks, and methodologies to perform a variety of project management functions such as; project management plans, work breakdown structure/schedules, risk mitigation plans, and project timelines
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) of projects progress, risks, issues, and proposed resolutions
  • Perform operations management and project management for a variety of information technology deliverables and task orders
  • Strategic planning and solution development, both technical and business
  • Ensure project-defined deliverables are provided on time, and have been quality reviewed (e.g. SOPs, Configuration Guides, Training Documentation, Project Schedules)
  • Establish project schedules and plans with Government Stakeholders
  • Track and provide performance management evaluations against Project Plans 
  • Ensure delivery on Program and Project deliverables (e.g. Weekly Team and Project Status Reporting, Bi-Weekly Program Reporting, Timesheet Review, Performance Management Metric Analysis)
  • Provide presentations and develop demonstrations for reporting in support of the program
  • Provide technical support for all team task areas (e.g. systems engineering and integration, service design and delivery)
  • Facilitate requirements and data gathering
  • Develop and Refine Performance Management Metrics in accordance with Program Goals and Deliverable requirements sessions



  • US Citizen and must be able to obtain and maintain required federal security clearance
  • Active Top Secret Clearance strongly preferred
  • Expert level project and program management experience with either the Department of Defense or Department of Energy 
  • 15 years of related experience 
  • PMP Certification
  • Bachelors Degree

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and also be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Must be able to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express one self, and exchange information visually and verbally.

Must be able to occasionally bend and lift files and papers up to 10 pounds throughout the office space for events and meetings.
