Position Description

Are you a Sailpoint IdentityNow expert? Want to help a large and  innovative government agency migrate from IdentityIQ to Identity now and built the implementation out more extensively? This is an exciting opportunity for you to design and implement a new and improved ICAM program which spans on-premise and cloud environments. The successful candidate will have experience designing and implementing ICAM solutions for workflow, authentication, and privilege management. This experience must include specific IdentityNow implementation and operation. The successful candidate will be used to leading technical projects, coming up with design and implementation documentation, and executing the implementation itself. One of the following certifications is strongly preferred:

  • SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer, SailPoint Certified IdentityNow

 

Your experience will include:

  • 5+ years of SailPoint Experience
  • 2+ years of experience implementing Sailpoint IdentityNow
  • At least five (5) years of IT experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical field, or at least eight (8) years of IT experience and no degree requirement 
  • Experience engineering solutions in both on-premise and cloud environments
  • Scripting experience: PowerShell, Ruby, Bash
  • Design and implementation of features and integrations for enterprise including integration with enterprise IT service management platform
  • Design and onboarding of additional privileged access management for IT assets including: 
    • Windows Servers 
    • Security Appliances 
    • Network Appliances 
    • Databases 
  • Design and implementation of new authoritative source data connectors for user accounts 
  • Design and implementation of new authoritative source data connectors for user accounts
  • Onboarding applications for access requests and provisioning
  • Continued design and development of automated release management, and scalable repeatable automation 

Example Responsibilities:

  • IdentityNow migration, implementation, development, and operation tasks
  • Interfaces with the stakeholders to determine their requirements 
  • Generates the highest level of system requirements, based on the user's needs and other constraints such as cost and schedule
  • Ensures that high level requirements are consistent, complete, correct, and operationally defined
  • Provides for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces
  • Performs cost-benefit analyses to determine whether requirements are best met by manual, software, or hardware functions
  • Interfaces with the design and implementation engineers and architects, so that any problems arising during design or implementation can be resolved in accordance with the fundamental design concepts, and user needs and constraints
  • Creates detailed design documentation and supports the development of compliance documentation
  • Develops slide presentation decks
  • Assess workflow, organization, and planning for problems and develop appropriate corrective action
  • Ensures that a maximally robust design is developed
  • Generates products such as sketches, models, an early user guide and prototypes to keep the user and the engineers constantly up to date and in agreement on the system to be provided as it is evolving 
  • Updates to continuous diagnostics and mitigation (CDM) dashboard reporting initiatives
  • Verify that architectures are in agreement with open systems standards as they apply to the customer’s environment
  • Supervise staff as required

Remote Work Policy 

Remote work necessitates a high-level of trust in our employees.
