Valiant Solutions is seeking a Project Manager  to join our rapidly growing and innovative cybersecurity team!

 

As a Project Manager, you will lead and contribute to technical projects and assist the engineering team in maintaining quality standards.  You will manage stakeholder communications on technical projects and provide liaison services for status updates from technical resources. The Project Manager tracks task backlogs and status against customer goals and ensures quality compliance is carried out in accordance with contract performance requirements and established customer standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience assigning and managing task resources OR an Associate's Degree and 10+ years of experience assigning and managing task resources.
  • Must hold, in good standing, one of the following professional certifications, PMP, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Prior experience in an IT Support environment (hardware, software, cloud), ideally a cybersecurity environment.
  • Experience and knowledge to initiate, establish, and maintain methods for controlling the quality and integrity of all systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Experience analyzing and building requirements for business processes, systems, and data to identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Experience developing and maintaining project plans, status reports, and other project-related documentation.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and track within transparent task management tools.
  • Experience maintaining risk management plans.
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and able to thrive in a busy, deadline-driven

atmosphere.

  • Strong ability to converse with technical and general audiences.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to all IT customers, develop and maintain performance dashboards, and prepare reports to be submitted to the customer.
  • Analyze all data and project deliverables and ensure adherence to all timeframe and budget requirements.
  • Maintain all work according to program office procedures and policies.
  • Manage and recommend required improvements to all project methodologies.
  • Work closely with technical staff to obtain technical information needed without causing delays in technical support.
  • Assist in closing all projects, perform required benefit analysis in collaboration with the project team, and maintain a record of all IT governance meetings.
  • Identify and document project risks or issues and develop mitigation recommendations.
  • Maintain all management agreements and prepare reports.
  • Review and monitor all IT programs for program performance and perform regular corporate audits and prepare reports for the same.
  • Perform regular project status calls on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Assist in preventive measures and promote and implement improvement programs.
  • Plan and assess project audit results and analyze  non-conformities.
  • Communicate regularly with numerous stakeholders, both Government and contractor, through regular and ad-hoc meetings.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and adapt quickly to changing and multiple priorities.
  • Energetic and forward-thinking with high ethical standards.
  • A team player, trustworthy, and willing to share information.

The salary range for this position is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. It has been benchmarked in relation to the scope of the role, market rate, and internal equity. The salary for this role is expected to be in the $105,500 - $119,500 range. Where a candidate falls within the band can be determined based on one or more of the following: skillset, experience level, achievements, education, geographic location, security clearance, involvement in corporate tasks, and other non-discriminatory factors. In addition to the base salary, this role will include benefits as described below.  Valiant reserves the right to adjust the salary range, experience requirements, and position responsibilities at any time without prior notice.
