We seek a highly skilled and experienced CyberArk Conjur Engineer to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our CyberArk Conjur environment. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of identity and access management, privileged access security, and strong expertise in leveraging CyberArk Conjur to secure and manage secrets within our infrastructure.

This position allows for 100% remote work. Remote work necessitates a high-level trust in our employees and we strictly adhere to the details found below in our Remote Work Policy. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years relevant cybersecurity experience. 
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field or an additional (3) three years of industry experience.
• Proven experience as a subject matter expert in CyberArk Conjur, including successful implementation and maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of identity and access management principles and privileged access security.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation for integration purposes (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Proficiency in Linux Operating Systems systems administration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CyberArk Certified Delivery Engineer (CDE) or similar will be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of CyberArk Conjur solutions tailored to the organization's security requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CyberArk Conjur into existing systems and workflows.
• Develop and enforce security policies and best practices related to CyberArk Conjur usage.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert in CyberArk Conjur to support incident response and troubleshooting.
• Manage underlying Linux Operating Systems that host Conjur.
• Work closely with the security operations team to address and resolve any security incidents related to privileged access.
• Create comprehensive documentation for CyberArk Conjur configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams to effectively utilize CyberArk Conjur.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

Referral Bonuses

The salary range for this position is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. It has been benchmarked in relation to the scope of the role, market rate, and internal equity. The salary for this role is expected to be in the $124,500 - $149,100 range. Where a candidate falls within the band can be determined based on one or more of the following: skillset, experience level, achievements, education, geographic location, security clearance, involvement in corporate tasks, and other non-discriminatory factors. In addition to the base salary, this role will include benefits as described above.  Valiant reserves the right to adjust the salary range, experience requirements, and position responsibilities at any time without prior notice. 

Remote Work Policy
